Heritage Specialist Mary Barry visited  Rang 4/5/6 for Science Week 2022. We had great fun exploring how dyes and ink were formulated in the past from natural. We experimented with ink and mixing colours. We also used twigs from the elder tree as pens and make drawings. We now have a new found respect for the monks that wrote The Book of Kells!
